Zoae – Life in the Kingdom

20120115-224531.jpgLife. All the busyness, clamour and noise. Is this what Jesus meant when he said that he came to give us life in all it’s fullness? You can listen again to Sunday’s teaching by going here, the full transcript is below.

The Greek word Zoae is used 135 times in the New Testament. It is actually the disciple John who really takes hold of this word and uses it the most. Half of all the uses of this word come from his writings in his Gospel, his Epistle and Revelation.

John’s writings contain some of the most striking uses of this word. Let’s read through some of them aloud and consider the meaning of the word ‘life’, this zoae life.
